The iPod Universal Dock serves as a convenient and elegant home base. It features an infrared port for the Remote control connections for A/V (lineout) cable USB and Firewire.

And it works with all iPod models that have a dock connector through the use of interchangeable inserts called Dock Adapters, four dock adapters are included making it compatible with

all iPods with the dock connector (all iPods except for the iPod Shuffle). Simply place your iPod into the dock to sync with iTunes and charge your iPod at the same time.
